Our Father

Our Father which are in heaven, that your name be sanctified, your Kingdom come, that your will be done on Earth as in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And not submit to the temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Developed prayer to God our Father (analysis).

 – Our Father who are in heaven, your name be sanctified …

God our Father we believe in you, Lord God because everything reveals your power and your kindness. The harmony of the universe testifies to a wisdom, a prudence and foresight that surpass all human faculties ¦ The name of a Be sovereignly great and wise is inscribed in all the works of the creation, since the blade of grass and the smallest insect up to the asters that moveth in the space ; everywhere we see the evidence of a paternal solicitude. That is why, blind is the one who does you glorified not in your works, proud he that does not make you the actions of grace …

– That your reign arrives …

Lord God, you have given to the men of the laws of wisdom and who would do their happiness if they were observing. With these laws, they would prevail between them the peace and justice; they are mutually retirements instead of harm as they do; the fort would support the low instead of the crush; they would avoid the evils that engender the abuses and excesses of all kinds. All the miseries of here-bottom come from the violation of your laws, because there is only one offense which has fatal consequences.

You have given, to the bully, the instinct which him trace the limit of necessary and complies with it mechanically; but to the man, in addition to this instinct, you have given the intelligence and the reason; you have given him the freedom to observe or to violate those of your laws which concerns them personally, i.e. to choose between good and evil so that he has the merit and the responsibility for its actions …

No one can excuse the ignorance of your laws because, in your paternal foresight, you have wished that they were engraved in the consciousness of everyone, without distinction as to worship, or nations; those who violate them, is that they ignore you. A day will come when, according to your promise, all gambling ; then the disbelief will have disappeared; all you will recognize for the sovereign master of all things, and the reign of your laws will be your reign on earth …

Must urgently, Lord, hasten its advent by giving men the Light necessary for the lead on the path of the truth …

– That your will be done on earth as in heaven …

If the submission is a duty of the son to the Father, of the lower to her superior, how many must not be greater, that of the creature to the regard of its Creator!

To do your will, O Lord God, it is observe your laws and submit without a murmur to your divine decrees; Man will abide by it when it will know that you are the source of all wisdom, and that, without you, he can do nothing; then he will be your willingness on the Earth as the font already the elected in the sky …

– Give us today our daily bread …

God our Father give us food for the maintenance of the forces in the body, also give us the spiritual food for the development of our spirit.

The gross found its pasture, but the man must at its own activity and the resources of his intelligence, because you have created free. You told him: « Thou wilt thy food from the earth to the sweat of your brow » ; by here, you have made him an obligation of the job so that it exercised its intelligence to the search for ways to meet its needs and to his well-being: the one by the work equipment, the other by the intellectual work; without the work, it would remain stationary and could not aspire to the congratulate of higher Spirits.

You secondez the man of goodwill which is entrusted to you for the necessary, but not to the one which is complete in the idleness and would achieve everything without penalty, nor the one who seeks the superfluous …

How is it that succumb by their fault and their negligence and improvidence or their ambition, and for not having been willing to settle for what you had offered! Those are the artisans of their own misfortune and do not have the right to complain, because they are being punished by or they have sinned. But even those, you don’t abandon because you are infinitely merciful; you their stretch out a helping hand of that, like the prodigal son, they return sincerely to you …

Before we complain about our fate, we ask if it is not our book ; to each misfortune that happens to us, we ask if it had not depended on us to avoid ; but we also say that God our Father has given us the intelligence to get us out of the quagmire, and that it depends on us to use.

Since the act of work is the condition of man on earth, give us the courage and the strength to accomplish ; also give us the prudence, foresight and restraint in order to not lose the fruit.

Give us, Lord God, our bread of each day, that is to say, the means to acquire, by the job, the necessary things of life because no one has a right to claim the superfluous.

If the work is possible for us, we entrust ourselves in our divine providence ; if he between in your designs of testing us by the most severe hardships, despite our efforts, we accept them as a just expiation of sins we have been able commit in this life or in a previous life, because you are just … we all know that there is a point of undeserved penalties and that you do châtiez never without cause.

Preserve us, O my God, to design of the envy against those who possess what we do not have, nor even against those who have the superfluous, then that we are lacking the necessary. Forgive them if they forget the law of charity and love of neighbor that you have them taught …

Gently spread also to our spirit, the thought of denying your justice, led in the prosperity of the wicked, and the misfortune that has plagued sometimes the good man … We now know, thanks to new lights you enjoyed it to give us, that your justice always receives its fulfilment and does default to person; that the material prosperity of the wicked is ephemeral as his bodily existence, and that it will have a terrible return, while the joy reserved to those who are suffering with resignation will be eternal …

– Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us …

Each of our offenses to your statutes, O Lord God, is an insult to you, and a debt that we will need -sooner or later- carry out. We are requesting the surrender of your infinite mercy, under the promise of making efforts to do not incur any new.

You made us an explicit law of charity ; but charity is not only to assist its similar in need, it is also in the forgetfulness and the forgiveness of sins.

What right, my God, would be pleading for us your indulgence if we ourselves we are short in respect of those whose we have been complaining about?

Give us, O my God, the force to strangle in our soul, any resentment, hatred, and any grudge …

Made that death does surprises us not with a desire for revenge in the court. If you would like to remove us today even here-bottom, made that we can present to you pure of any animosity, to the example of Jesus Christ, whose last words were for his executioners …

The persecution that we font endure the wicked are part of our land-based tests; we must accept them without murmur, like the other tests, and do not curse those who, by their wickedness, we spawn the path of eternal happiness because you have told us, through the mouth of Jesus: « Blessed are those who suffer for justice! » Bless therefore the hand that strikes us and we feel humiliated, because we will be readings of our humility.

God our Father either bless your name, O Lord God, for we have learned that our fate is point irrevocably fixed after the death; that we will find in other lives, the means to fix our past mistakes, to accomplish in another life what we have not done in it for our progress.

By here is explain finally all apparent anomalies of life; it is the light thrown on our past and our future, the crisp sign of our sovereign justice and of your infinite goodness.

– Do we not submit to the temptation, but deliver us from evil …

Give us, O Lord God, the strength to resist the suggestions of the evil spirits that attempt to divert us from the path of good by drawing inspiration from bad thoughts.

But we are, ourselves, of the Spirits imperfect, embodied on earth to atone and we improve. The first cause of evil is in us, and the evil spirits do that take advantage of our vicious tendencies in which they we maintain, for we try.

Each imperfection is an open door to their influence, whereas they are powerless and renounce to any initiative against the perfect beings. It is therefore against ourselves that we must direct our efforts, and then, the evil spirits deviates from naturally, because it is the evil which attracts, while the well the pushes.

Lord God, support us in our weakness; inspire us, by the way of our guardian angels and good spirits, the willingness to correct us of our imperfections in order to close, to the unclean spirits, the access of our soul to their solicitations.

It is ourselves who are creating the evil in violating your laws, and by the bad use that we make of the freedom that you have given us. When men will observe your laws, the evil will disappear from the earth as it has already disappeared in the worlds most advanced.

The evil is not a fatal necessity for anyone, and it does not appear that irresistible to those who are wallowing … if we have the will to do it, we can also have that to do good; that is why, o my God, we ask for your assistance and your protection, and that of your good spirits, to resist the temptation …
– Amen!

Like it to you, Lord God, that our desires are accomplished! But we bow before your infinite wisdom. On all the things that we are not given to understand, so be it done according to your will, and not ours, because you do not want to that our well, and know better than we, what we is useful.
