Holy Vite Modeste Crescence
Holy Vite, born in Sicily, of a pagan family, was informed in the Christian religion by his tutor Saint Modeste and his nurse holy Crescence.
All three, denounced like disciples of Jesus-Christ, were martyred.
Holy Vite made great miracles, he cures his torturers, and he drove out a demon which had the body of the son of Diocletian. Thrown to the lions, those came to lick the feet to him.
In 303, after many sufferings, saint Vite and his two companions return to God their hearts which fly away with the sky.
Holy Vite, who was only twelve years old, ensured, at the time of flying away with the sky, the witnesses of his martyrdom, which one would obtain by his intercession and that of his happy associated all that one would request from God for his safety, and particularly cure of the dental abscesses.
My heart was plunged in the pain and rejected any consolation. I remembered God and his saint’s martyrs. I called upon holy Vite, and his happy associated, and this blessed name filled me of consolation. Exudes me, Ô my God, and I will unceasingly publish your justice and the salutary help that you gave me. We bless you, Ô my God, by NR. – S. J. – C. Amen.
