Holy Urbain was bishop of Langres at the 5th century.
His life did without all the virtues in practice. He lived as a saint, fasted like a monk and brought back all to the glory of God. Supported gift of the miracles, he cured all the unhappy ones which arised to him.
One calls upon him against the cardiac pains.
His worthy body, after his death, was transported to Dijon, according to whether he had wished it because of his large devotion with Saint Bénigne, and had deposited in the basilica of Saint-Jean-Baptist.
During his life, the gift of the miracles came to add to his holiness a deserved glare.
Ô God, which reveal in the upheavals of nature the size of your anger that our sins have excited against us, have nevertheless pity of what we suffer, and make that the prayers and the merits of Holy Urbain are to us a source of hello and safeguarding for the goods of the ground which we hold of your liberality, we request some from you by NR. – S.J. – C. Thus made run in my wounds, Ô good Jésus This celestial remedy, so that the venom of the infernal snake loses his virtue, and that I recover my health first; that, full with the feeling of your softness, I sincerely mistake all the worldly pleasures, and that I don’t fear any suffering for you. Leave me anything, I beg you, who am pleasant to me, pleasant, nothing which is invaluable for me, nothing which has attraction for me without you; that all without you is small for me and without value; that any joy which doesn’t have you as an aim me is a sorrow, and which any suffering for you me that is to say a joy; that your name is to me a cooling, and that your memory is to me a consolation. Amen.
