This fountain, now disappeared, saw occurring many miracles. The patients there came to wash themselves and found all at once health.

Happy the heart of which nothing forever tarnished the purity! Happy the heart which didn’t lose the dress of innocence! Your glances, Ô my God, stop on it with love: beautiful in your eyes as the dove which goes down on the edge from water, like the gate vaults of Cédar, it’s your beloved; you come to it, you call it with you, and your presence charms it joy. While burning passions agitate, torment the children of the world and tear their heart, you surround by calm this heart cherished, you deaden it on your center, and you known as: « Don’t awake my beloved, don’t disturb her sleep, until he wakes up of herself »; and when the shades of this life decline, and that shone the dawn of the eternal day, the wife then links herself with the husband, with, true Solomon, and the skies resound of this canticle: leave, girls of Sion, come and see king Solomon crowned of the diadem whose his mother crowned him at the day of his engagement and the day of the joy of his heart. Oh! Who will return this pleasant innocence to me? Who will give me this so expensive purity, Ô my God? You only can it, Seigneur, and I await this grace of you. The directions of the man and his thought are inclined with the evil as of childhood; repress leaning it of my corrupted nature; create in me a new heart, a pure heart; pour on my lips some drops of this celestial wine which makes germinate the virgins; so that my directions, detached of the ground, rest only in you, and satisfy their eternally unutterable softnesse; that you promised with those which love you. Amen.
