Receive, Ô infinitely good God, the wishes that I address to you via holy Eutychie, and grant to me for the glory of your Name and the exaltation of this Blessed Virgin, the cure of this puffiness, so that holy Eutychie is filled blessings. Amen
Holy Eutychie, which relieve the patients who call upon you, request for me.
My God, you drew me from the silt of the ground; your hands worked me like a clay vase; you made me initially as milk which is curdled and hardens, then me strengthened you by bones, and covered skin and of flesh. But up to that point, Lord, my eyes were closed with the light, my ear could not hear, my language remained stuck to my palate, all my members were without movement, all my body a corpse without life. Then you blew on my face a breath of life, and you made me a living being. My heart thus comes from you, Seigneur: but my body left the ground; and when Celtic spark dies out which stirs up our heart, it turns over to the ground, and becomes the heritage of the snakes, the roof-bars and the worms. Large God! Who will deliver me of this body of sin? As long as we are contained in this terrestrial residence, we don’t cease groaning: because this mud preserved like the odor and the taste of its origin; this flesh likes with grovel in the refuse like an animal impure; it covets against the spirit, and makes it the war; it produces only fruits of dead: the fornication, the impurity, impudicity, dissolution, drunkenness, vices and other crimes similar. God the Almighty, made that my heart, this breath of your spirit, this girl of the sky, isn’t let involve by my body in the tomb which it must infect of his rot; say to me by your voice to punish this cheap slave and to reduce it in constraint, say me that which sows in the flesh by drunkenness and the vice, will harvest the corruption of the flesh; don’t allow that I resemble those which make their God of their belly; because by fattening my body for the worms, I would fatten my heart for the hell. Amen.
