Holy Clement, pope and martyr, lived at the first century of the Christian era. The ill children are recommended to him.
Holy Clement was born in Rome and converts very early with the Christian religion. Full with faith and zeal, he strongly helped the apostles in their mission evangelizing, became bishop, then pope.
Exiled under the Vespasien emperor in a region where the Christians were condemned to the mines, he recorded their courage and supported their faith. One day, water missing, he requested God and saw a very white lamb which of its foot showed him a spouting spring not far from there. Many were his miracles; also in little time, the region became it entirely Christian. Furious of these conversions, the Trajan emperor, who reigned then, made him throw to the sea an anchor with the neck.
The legend tells that Christians in prayers on the beach transfer the sea to withdraw themselves of more than one mile and to reveal a marble vault being used as tomb with Holy Clement.
Ô Jesus, that I adore under the pleasant title of hello of the children, who liked them with as well tenderness and filled your caresses, made as the intercession of Holy Clement obtains to them, with the health of the body, the more invaluable grace to preserve their innocence. We request some from you by NR. – S.J. – C. Amen.
Holy Clement, which protect in particular the children, that we entrusts to you, request for us.
Ô Jesus, good Pasteur and tender Father, bring back in your fold this mislaid ewe, point out this prodigal son in your house. Why does he flee you, this wire rebellious which I wanted to devote you without division? Ah! That he hears finally your voice, that he opens the eyes with your light that he throws himself in the arms of your mercy like another Augustin, that he embraces the rigors of penitence like Madeleine, to whom you gave so much of sins. Holy virgin, which sought your divine Son with such an amount of eagerness, run a search of the mine; be the happy star back to the port of salvation. Amen.
